Meet Christine
Let me introduce myself. I am Christine Cooper.
I consider my decision to become a Life Celebrant & Officiant a very personal calling. With that calling, I also recognize the importance of the responsibility to wordsmith some of the most important celebrations of people’s lives. I could have chosen an easy route to my Officiant standing but opted to study and learn about the celebrations and rituals of life, as we live them each day.
As a highly successful, award-winning public speaker, the bulk of my professional career has been spent in Community based social services. During my tenure, I worked with hundreds of families and caregivers and became a public advocate for caregivers, and in particular, for young caregivers. It has
been a rewarding career, one of which I am very proud of. During the latter few years though I always knew that there was something else I wanted to do. I consider my work as an Officiant to be the highlight of my career.
Then I Came Across this quote by the late Maya Angelou;
“My mission in life is not merely to survive, but to thrive; and to do so with some passion, some compassion, some humor, and some style.”

I am very proud to say that I am a successful graduate of the Celebrant Foundation & Institute and have spent the last two years studying through their programs. It has made me a far more powerful and effective wordsmith in creating the stories and the watershed moments of our lives. I consider it a great honour and an important responsibility, in my capacity as an Officiant/Celebrant to work with my clients. Registered Officiant – #70602
